Hey everyone,

Thank you for popping over to my blog. Today I have a really beautiful project for you. It’s a shadow box but it has the extra element of an acetate front. This really makes it look like a ‘real’ wooden box frame. I have mine on the wall and you can not tell it is made from card!

This project is very simple to make and you can choose to decorate it any way you like. I hope you will have a try at making one.

I used a beautiful triple panel die to decorate the one I made in my video and a gorgeous Butterfly that I used in my original.

I think this would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift.

MEASUREMENTS

card for the base measures 11 1/2 x 11″

2 pieces measuring 5 1/2 x 11″

2 pieces measuring 5 1/2 x 11 1/2″ score all 4 pieces on the4 short side @ 1/2, 1 3/4, 3 & 4 1/4″

patterned paper needs to measure just under 11 1/2 x 11″

A template measuring 8 x 8″ to draw around.

4 pieces measuring 1 1/4 x 2″
