Hey everyone!
I promised when I made my desktop die folder I would also make some kind of storage binder for either dies or stamps. Well, look what we have today! I am quite pleased with how this has turned out. The only thing I am not happy with is the card stock I picked. Its a bit to thin to be used on a binder. Me also being a bit heavy handed hasn’t helped! I pressed a bit to hard and went through the other side. Never mind.

This binder was super simple to make and I just love the spine! My mind is already working away on what else I will be creating using this binder method. The rings I used in mine were 2″ however, I see know reason why you couldn’t use a smaller size.

I made 5 inserts for mine which are all double sided. I see know reason why it wouldn’t hold another 5, making it 10 altogether. I just love the fact that you can make it in any colour or style you choose! You could also add a closure, maybe a magnetic one or maybe a ribbon closure. The choice is yours.
I must say that I am so sorry that the clip for the hole making/punching has disappeared! I was so angry when I realised it wasn’t there. I have know clue where it has gone or even what I have done. Below I will list all the measurements and also the measurements you need to punch your holes.
YOU WILL NEED:
2 x CHIPBOARD/GREYBOARD MEASURING 8 X 8″
1 X CHIPBOARD/GREYBOARD MEASURING 3 1/2″ X 8
2 X PATTERNED PAPER MEASURING 10 X 10″ SCORE ALL 4 SIDES AT 1″ (DO THIS TO BOTH PIECES)
1 X CARDSTOCK FOR THE SPINE MEASURING 10 X 8 1/4″ SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1″ & 9″
TO COVER THE INSIDE I USED 1 PIECE OF CARDSTOCK MEASURING 7 3/4″ X 11 3/4″ & 1 PIECE MEASURING 7 3/4″ X 7 3/4″
INSERTS
CERAL BOXES/CHIPBOARD OR GREYBOARD MEASURING 8″ X 7 1/4″ ( THIS BINDER MAY HOLD UPTO 10 INSERTS)
PAPER TO COVER YOUR INSERTS, 1 PIECE MEASURING 10 X 9 1/4″ SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 1″
PAPER TO COVER THE BACK OF YOUR INSERTS MEASURING 7 3/4″ X 7″
HOLES
MEASURE IN 3/4″ FROM EACH SIDE OF THE SPINE THEN MEASURE UP 1″ THAT IS WHERE YOU WILL PUNCH YOUR HOLES. ( YOU NEED TO DO THIS AT BOTH ENDS OF THE SPINE AS YOU NEED 2 HOLES IN EACH END)
IT SHOULD WORK OUT THAT YOUR HOLES ARE 1″ FROM THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SPINE AND 2″ APART
I hope you will make one of these for yourself!
If this project/video does ok I have something similar for Sunday. Its not a stamp binder but its a great craft room storage project 🙂 Its just so much work and I was finding that my videos were getting poor views. That’s why I don’t do a lot of 3D projects anymore. It really messes with the YouTube algorithms and then YouTube don’t share your videos anymore and your channel just starts to go downhill. It kind of destroys all the work you have put in. I hope you understand.
See you all on Sunday.
Love Ann xx
