Today I have a super easy advent calendar for you. This is not my ideas, I was asked to make it by a Lady from my Facebook group. I believe the Lady who made it is called https://www.instagram.com/animanoscreativas/?hl=en

This is my version and I just made it up as I went along. It does require lot’s of card but it’s so easy to make and really looks gorgeous when it’s done.

I hope you like it.

I think you will agree that it really looks fab! You could also create a 12 days of Christmas Calendar and it would be great done in a Halloween theme.

MEASUREMENTS:

IF YOU ARE MAKING YOUR CALENDAR 6 X 6″ YOU WILL NEED 24 PIECES OF CARD MEASURING 6 1/2 X 4″

SCORE LONG SIDE @ 1/2, 3, 31/2 & 6″

SHORT SIDE @ 1/2, 3 & 3 1/2″

IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A BOX WITH A LIFT OFF LID FOR THE 6 X 6″ CALENDAR YOUR CARD WILL NEED TO MEASURE 3 1/2 X 3 1/2″

SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 1/2″

FOR THE LID, MAKE THE CARD THE SAME SIZE BUT SLIGHTLY MOVE AWAY FROM THE EDGE OF YOUR SCORE BOARD AS SHOWN IN THE TUTORIAL.

MEASUREMENTS FOR THE BOOK:

2 PIECES OF THICK CARD/CHIPBOARD MEASURING 6 X 6″

1 PIECE MEASURING 6 X 4″ FOR YOUR SPINE.

YOU ALSO NEED 3 PIECES OF CARD FOR YOUR PAGES MEASURING 6 1/2 X 5 7/8″

SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1/2″

IF YOU ARE MAKING YOUR CALENDAR 8 X 8″

YOUR CARD/CHIPBOARD NEEDS TO MEASURE 8 X 8″ X2 PIECES

YOUR SPINE MEASURES 4 X 8″

BOXS FOR 8 X 8″ CALENDAR

24 PIECES OF CARD MEASURING 7 1/2 X 4 1/2″

SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 & 7″

SCORE THE SHORT SIDE @ 1/2, 3 1/2 & 4″

BOXS WITH LIFT OFF LID FOR 8 X 8″ CALENDAR

YOUR CARD NEEDS TO MEASURE 3 1/2 X 3 1/2″

SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 1/2″

MAKE THE LID THE SAME SIZE BUT MOVE AWAY FROM YOUR SCOREBOARD BEFORE YOU SCORE (AS EXPLAINED ABOVE)

YOU ALSO NEED 3 PIECES OF CARD FOR YOUR PAGES MEASURING 8 1/2 X 7 7/8″

SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1/2″
