RELOVE Your Stash!!

Hi everyone, I am so excited about this new series 🙂 I hope you are too. We are going to have great fun using our stash over the next few months. I have to be honest and tell you that this really did bring my mojo back!! I have have spent so much time at my craft desk these last few days.

So for our first video i have focused on basic dies, circles, stars, leaves and dies that i am pretty sure we all have in our stash. I also went for a background stamp. Again i am sure we all have a few of them. If not just make your own background stamp by using smaller stamps. You can even make one by just stamping the whole stamp set onto your card.

Of course we need some Ink, again i am pretty sure we all have ink in our stash! I know i have tons of the stuff. The main ones i used are from Aliexpress, i love them and they stamp so well. Please just use what you have though, you will still get some beautiful results 🙂

As you can see from the pictures above, i am super happy with my cards. I think they are so pretty and i am looking forward to creating more in this style. I would love to see what you create! You can share them on my facebook group or facebook page if you like 🙂

I hope you will join me for the next installment of ‘Re-love your stash’ next Sunday.

Bye for now

Ann

I am so sorry guys :-(

Hi everyone, i am so sorry i am neglecting my Blog again 😦 I promise i will kick myself up the butt and start posting again. Its just been so hard after my house move. Also the covid situation is getting my down. Just everything has been hard and know motivation at all.

I have also been sorting out my craft space. If you follow me on Facebook i did post a few pictures of it but i needed more desk space. I had a delivery from Ikea yesterday and spent all day changing it around. I am suffering for it today though! My back is killing. I ordered another Kallax unit and some draws, shelfs etc to put in it. I have lots more work space now 🙂

Here are a couple of photos of it. I don’t have the luxury of a designated craft room so i share my bedroom with it. One day when i have my own craft company i can afford a bigger house lol 😉 Well i can dream anyway.

So there is my crafty space 🙂

Please join me on Youtube this Sunday for the start of my new series, Relove your stash!! I am really looking forward to this as when i did my ‘Tired of it’ video the other day, so many people have reached out to me through email, Facebook etc.

Happy new year everyone and i will be back soon.

Last minute table decoration.

Hi everyone,

It feels like ages since i have done a tutorial and a Blog post! I really need to get myself a routune going. When you move home it just upsets everything. Well it sure has for me. Over Christmas i plan to record some tutorials for the new year and get myself back to normal.

I hope you are all well and looking forward to Christmas. I have to say i think i am looking forward to a bit of a rest and some tome out from working and decorating! I feel like i have had a paintbrush in my hand 24/7!

Anyway, i needed a last minute table decoration as i couldn’t find the one i normally use ( probably got lost in the move). I didn’t want the mess of using dry foam so i just glued my Christmas bits straight down onto the card base. I didn’t glue my candle in as you turn it on and off from the bottom.

I have to say that i am thrilled with the end result. It turned out way better than i thought it would. It cost me nothing to make as i already had the supplies including the battery operated candle. It just goes to show that you can make stunning Christmas decorations for very little.

I I used Chloes pointestrtia stamp and dies to make my Flowers. The frame is made from Gold texture roll from Sizzix. The other decorations are what i purchased from The works a while ago.

I hope you like it and i hope you have something lying around to make something similar. Below you can find the measurements and also the link to my Youtube Video.

NO Sew EASY Fabric Covered Boxes!

Hi everyone 🙂

Today i have a tutorial on something i have never done before! Fabric covered boxes. I have always wanted to try it but to be honest i thought it would be really complicated etc. The great thing is its not complicated at all! I really enjoyed making these boxes and if you enjoyed the tutorial I am more than happy to do more of these videos 🙂

These boxes look so professional and I am pretty sure they would be pretty expensive to buy in a store. All you need is some fabric, masking tape, PVA glue and some kraft tape. Bare in mind that this not a ‘quick’ projects as you will have to allow your box to dry overnight with something heavy on the top.

Please also check out a brilliant website called http://www.colourwayarts.com. I have also linked it under my Youtube video. This is where i learnt most of my techniques from and also where i bought the corner miter tool from.

Below you can find the measurements for the large and small box and also the link to my YouTube video.

Laminator Hacks and Project Ideas

Hi everyone,

I have just uploaded a new video to Youtube with a couple of cool laminator hacks! I hope you like them and will find some good use from them. These cute little folders with cards and envelopes in would be great for craft fairs or even as gifts.

One of the hacks i share is great at saving on pouches. If you are laminating one side of your card or paper, you only need to use one half of the laminator pouch! If you check out my tutorial you will see how i do it.

The next tip was leaving the tabs out of your pouch. As i made a folder/wallet for my cards i didn’t want to laminate the tabs. This just allows the tabs to be able to stick ‘paper to paper’ I think its pretty cool.

I also made my own cute envelopes for the cards. I will post the link for my tutorial at the end of this post.

Bye for now
