Black Christmas!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I have not been around for a while, It’s been a busy few weeks. Today I have some Black Christmas cards for you. I have never made them before and really wanted to try some. They turned out beautifully and I know for sure I will be making more of them!

The photograph really does not do this card any justice! It’s so much more sparkly and glittery in real life. I think I am in love with the Black poinsettia flowers. I love the sparkly Tree’s stamp set as it gives ‘extra’ sparkle.

Of course I had to try a Black and Gold as well. That turned out beautiful and I think it may be my favourite of the two. I love the bling flower centre’s.

The poinsettia stamp and matching die are from Chloe’s creative cards as are some of the sprigs and leaves. They seem to be sold out though. I used a large glitter berry for the flower centre and also decorated with some large stamens. The gold glitter frame is from a large layering die set.

I also used some of the patterned paper I had left to decorate the inside of my cards.

These card would really need to put in a box rather than an envelope. Next week I may do a White Christmas and then we can make a box for the cards. We will also make a 6 x 6″ card next week.
