This will ‘Bowl’ you over!

Hey everyone,

Today I have a really cool gift bowl that doesn’t need any dies or fancy tools! I used to have a die that made a bowl a couple of years ago but I think I sold it on. About 6 months ago a subscriber asked me if I could make something similar without any dies, so here it is. Its pretty simple to make and you could always make a practice one first.

This is perfect for so many occasions, Mothers day, Birthdays, Christmas and Teachers gifts. You could fill it with Sweets, Make-up or anything you fancy. I would also wrap the whole thing in cellophane and it would look so pretty.

A picture of the template you need to make

Make your template as I showed in the tutorial. You also need to score the pencil lines that you see in the photo above.

The card to make your template measures 6 x 4″ draw a box in it that measures 5 1/4 x 3″ mark down one side with a pencil at 1 1/2, 3 & 4 3/4″ then draw straight lines across from the marks.

Draw the 3 tabs as shown in the video and then cut your template out. If you want to add patterned paper to your bowl you will need 6 pieces of paper that measure 2 3/4″ square. Measure in 2cm along the bottom on each side, mark with a pencil and then cut diagonally as shown in the video.

You also need 6 pieces of paper measuring 2 3/4 x 1 1/2″ do the same as the other 6 pieces above.

I hope you will give this a try and I will link my tutorial below.

Bye for now
