Hey everyone,
I hope you are all well! Thank you for popping over to my blog today. I promised last week that I would do some more videos about using our paper pads. Today I have focused on 6×6″ pads. I am sure you all have tons of them!

I had 5×5″ envelopes but know cards so I made my own. I did make my cards 4 3/4″ square to allow plenty room for the envelope. The gift box I made holds 10 cards & envelopes. Before today I had never opened the paper pad! ( I know I am not alone lol )
I kept the cards very simple and focused on the paper pad rather than bringing out tons of dies & stamps etc. I did use my Micron pens to create some faux stitching and hand drawn borders. You really should try it! It gives your cards ( and envelopes) a totally different look.

These make fantastic gifts, they are so much better than shop bought ones. I really enjoy creating these sets and I am sure you will too. I keep telling you that I am determined to use my stash. I am tired of hoarding and buying craft stuff & then not using it!
I will be back with another video on this next week. We will crack open the 12×12″ pads! Now, I have a TON of them & guess what???? most have never been used!
Here are the measurements for today’s project:
BOX: 1 PIECE OF CARD MEASURING 7 X 8 3/4″
SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1 3/4″ ON EACH SIDE
SCORE THE SHORT SIDE @ 1 3/4″
1 PIECE OF CARD MEASURING 9 1/4″ X 8 3/4″
SCORE THE SHORT SIDE @ 1 3/4″ ON EACH END
SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1/2″, 2 1/4″ & 7 1/2″
I didn’t really measure the scrap pieces that I used on my cards. I can tell you the mats and layers measured 4 3/4″ square and 4 5/8″ square.
I will be back again soon with another video.
Bye for now xx
Thank you Ann . Yes I have plenty of paper pads that I really needed . But they are still sitting there waiting to be used . Love the box that you have made to go with them x
