Happy mothers day to all the amazing Ladies out there! I hope you got to spend it with your family.
I have been meaning to do a video about this for a while now. Why do I do it??? Why do I buy beautiful stamp sets and not use them??? I can tell you why! I am terrified of colouring them so they sit unopened in the packet! I am 99% sure I am not alone in this. I am determined to beat it though and actually use what I have bought.
Colouring stamped images can be so scary, especially when there are so many beautiful cards out there. The whole point of this post is to let you all know you are not alone. I hope I have offered some solutions that don’t feel as scary!
A super simple card with ‘splatter’ coloured flowers and scrap pieces of card used for my background.
I created my own background again and my flowers were made with vellum and alcohol ink.
I used salvaged patina and peacock feathers distress oxide.
For this card I used picked raspberry and kitch flamingo distress oxide.
I used Prize ribbon distress oxide for my background and peacock feathers to colour in the flowers.
My cards all measured the same 4 1/4″ x 5 7/8″
