Handbag/Purse Folio

Hey everyone,

Today I am back with another stationary gift idea. I am calling this a Handbag folio. Its perfect for stocking fillers/Christmas gifts. This folio is simple to make and costs very little. If you don’t have chipboard you can use cereal boxes or whatever cardboard you have lying around.

Depending on what size notebook you have, you can alter the size of this and make it A5 if you wish. This one is an A6. I also added a Pen/pencil holder and a side pocket.

DIMENSIONS

2 PIECES OF CHIPBOARD/CARDBOARD MEASURING 6 1/4 X 4 1/4″ OR 15.8 CM X 10.8 CM

2 PIECES MEASURING 3/4 X 6 1/4″ OR 1. 9 CM X 15.8 CM

1 PIECE MEASURING 6 1/4″ X 2 1/2″ OR 15.8 CM X 6.3 CM

YOU WILL NEED 2 PIECES ARE CARD THAT ARE 8″ IN HEIGHT , YOU WILL NEED TO JOIN 2 PIECES OF A4 OR 12 X 12 TOGETHER

CARD FOR THE NOTEBOOK POCKET MEASURES 5 1/8″ X 4 1/2″ OR 13 CM X 11.4 CM

SCORE 3 SIDE AT 1/2″ OR 1.2 CM

PAPER FOR THE ENVELOPE POCKET MEASURES 8 X 3″ OR 20.3 CM X 7.6 CM

SCORE THE LONG SIDE AT 1/2 AND 1″ ON BOTH ENDS OR 1.2 CM AND 2.5 CM

SCORE THE SHORT SIDE AT 1/2″ OR 1.2 CM

I CUT THE PAPER FOR THE INSIDE OF THE FOLIO TO 11 X 6″ OR 27.9 CM X 15.2 CM

I ADDED A SMALLER PIECE AT THE END WHICH WAS 2 1/2 X 6″ BUT I MEASURED UP 1″ ON EACH SIDE TO GIVE ME THE POINTY SHAPE . YOU WILL NEED 2 OF THESE, ONE FOR THE FRONT AND INSIDE.

Please make sure to check out my Youtube tutorial for full step by step instructions.

Bye for now xx
